One of a series of three prints of views of the Dark Peak in winter. See also 'Under White Edge' and 'Below Stanage Edge'. This view is from above Fox House on the road from Sheffield to Hathersage. The road had just been cleared by a snow plough and it was great to get out in the fresh air. I was inspired by this almost monochrome view with it's heavy snow filled clouds and the way the tors merged into the sky so that they were hard to distinguish.
The ‘250 Edition Landscapes’ series is a limited edition of 250 of each print, all individually signed and numbered with the title. From time to time I add new prints to this series. They are available either fully framed or mounted ready for you to frame. They are produced using the best archival quality Fine Art textured card and using Blue Wool scale 6 inks, lightfast for 75-100 years.
Approximate image size: (measured as opening in mount) 29cm x 23cm. Mounted size: 44cm x 39cm.
Art Cards: With this edition, I reserve the right to use the images on cards also, and most are available as high quality art cards.
Unframed Prints: Each print is mounted with a chunky 2600 micron ‘Hayseed’ board. A backing board and cellophane wrapping is included for protection until framing. Each print is individually signed and numbered.
Framed Prints: Prints are framed in a high quality natural Ash frame with a simple rectangular section. This can be left as it is or varnished, stained or waxed at a later date. The frame dimensions are approximately 1.8cm wide (on the front face) and 3.5cm deep (standing off the wall). The mounts are 2600 micron ‘Hayseed’ board.
Please see my framing page for examples of the mount and the ash frame.
